two solo piano recitals on Tuesday 8 & Wednesday 9 January 2019 at 8:00 pm

Benjamin Grosvenor

Need we say anything about him? The young British pianist has already appeared at the BBC Proms multiple times, having performed at the First Night in 2011 and the Last Night in 2015. Benjamin records exclusively for Decca, the youngest British musician ever to sign to the label, and the first British pianist to sign to the label in almost 60 years. His distinctive sound is described as ‘poetic and gently ironic, brilliant yet clear-minded, intelligent but not without humour, all translated through a beautifully clear and singing touch’.

Due to the popularity of this recital, we have added an additional date:  Tuesday 8 January.  Tickets for this recital will go on sale at 10 am on Monday 15 October.  You can also add yourself to the waiting list for the Wednesday 9 January recital.
