Anna Fedorova, solo piano

Anna Fedorova

We have been planning to invite the Ukrainian pianist Anna Fedorova for a few years – her planned recital was cancelled due to the pandemic and since then it has been tricky to secure her appearance at Breinton due to her busy performing schedule! Anna is a recitalist, concerto soloist and chamber musician in demand, and admired for her beautiful sound and total technical command. Dedicated and devoted to her home country Ukraine, Anna tirelessly raises funds for humanitarian aid organizations and organizes benefit concerts for the victims of the war. The first half of the programme intrigues the darkness, and the stark contrasting second half is Schumann’s Carnaval Op 9. We look forward to what musical scenes unfold.
