In July 2022 we will finally resume our indoor recitals. Taking advantage of the summer season, we intend to reduce capacity and maximise ventilation to ensure the comfort of our guests. Outdoor seating options will also be available.
Our first event will feature Katya Apekisheva, described by Gramophone Magazine as a "profoundly gifted artist". Katya has appeared as a soloist with many of the world's leading orchestras including the London Philharmonic and she was a prize winner at the Leeds International Piano Competition. She is not only a soloist but she also has the artistry and delicacy that makes her a sought-after collaborative pianist. A long-term friend and favourite of Breinton, Katya is returning to perform a programme of Mozart, Chopin, Szymanowski and more, all on her way to Wigmore Hall.
