Pictures at Breinton

Saturday 26 October at 7:30 pm

Benjamin Grosvenor

What can we tell you about Benjamin Grosvenor that you don’t already know? He has established himself as one of the most important pianists to emerge in several decades. It is our utmost pleasure to present him to Breinton audiences again, this time in his solo capacity. The unsurpassed range of Benjamin’s virtuosity never disappoints in his programming – with the profoundly intimate Brahms’ Intermezzi, acutely passionate Schumann’s Fantasie and imaginative Pictures at an Exhibition, you can look forward to his sonorous lyricism, technical mastery and intense musicality. His biography says, “this season Grosvenor performs across the world a programme featuring Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition”. Guess where his recital journey starts?
