A native of Kazakhstan, Alim Beisembayev won audience hearts and the First Prize at the Leeds International Piano Competition in 2021. Alim, who is a current BBC Radio 3 Young Generation Artist, was brought to my attention with full praise by my concert promoter colleagues, and fortunately I was able to book him! Popular with both audiences and fellow musicians, he is one to watch. Last year, he made his debut at the BBC Proms on two days’ notice, which proved his invincible ability to the entire world. As a recitalist, he is a frequent performer at the Wigmore Hall. We look forward to an enchanting programme rich in variations and contrasts.
