Mozart’s sole score for a string trio

If you were to ask me to name my favourite violinists in the world, Canadian violinist James Ehnes would be right at the top of my list. I have even daydreamed about inviting him to perform at Breinton, but never in a million years had I imagined that this could one day come true.
Therefore, what an incredible privilege it is to welcome this special string trio of violinist James Ehnes, violist Antoine Tamestit, and cellist Andreas Brantelid – all of them celebrated and distinguished at the top level.
To make it even more exciting, they will perform Divertimento in E-flat, a 45-minute-long masterpiece created by Mozart’s pure genius; the six movements where every second rises to the highest levels of textural gorgeousness and supreme melodic inspiration.
Please note that the performance will last 65 minutes and there will be no interval. Snacks and drinks will be served after the performance.
