Sasha Scott is an Anglo-Caribbean violinist and composer from Wembley, London. She was a violinist at the Royal Academy of Music primary and junior department for four years and was a member of the National Children’s Orchestra GB for six years, winning a Leverhulme scholarship on two occasions.
Sasha is currently at The Purcell School for Young Musicians, on a government Music and Dance Scheme scholarship. She studies violin with Alda Dizdari and composition with Simon Speare. She recently won the ‘Purcell School Orchestral Commission 2018’ which led to her new work ‘Skyline’ being premiered at Cadogan Hall in March, 2018.
Sasha aspires to study both composition and violin at a Conservatoire and one day become a film composer. She plays a Louis Guersan violin kindly lent to her by Benslow Music.
