Alison Rhind is recognised as one of the leading collaborative pianists specialising in the repertoire for piano and strings. Her ability to accompany was recognised and nurtured at an early age whilst still at Chetham’s School of Music and she became increasingly in demand throughout her time at Oxford University where she read Music at Wadham College. Chetham’s invited her back immediately she had finished her degree but she completed her studies with Edith Vogel at the Guildhall School of Music before returning there.

In 1994, she moved to the Yehudi Menuhin School where she worked for twelve years. She toured Israel and Germany with the students and was invited to accompany at the prestigious Kronberg Akademie after her recitals there with the school.

During this period, she coached many young instrumentalists with whom she has since forged notable recital partnerships particularly the violinists Alina Ibragimova and Nicola Benedetti with whom she toured the USA and Japan.

Due to increasing amounts of work outside of her job at the school, Alison left to become a freelance accompanist often working with students at the London colleges. The Royal College of Music recognised her work and in 2009 created a post for her as Coach for the String Department which she now combines with freelance recital work. Her work at the college has also lead her to being invited to Oslo and Singapore to coach students there and she has a collaborative relationship with many teachers who send their students to her specifically for duo coaching.

She lives in Surrey with her three children.

Chris is joint first study trombone and euphonium studying at Junior Guildhall School of Music and holding the Trombone and Euphonium Scholarships. He is principal euphonium in their brass band and principal trombone in the Symphony Orchestra and in the Ten Piece Brass Group. Performances have also included chamber music groups opening the Barbican's Milton Court Concert Hall and in the House of Lords.

Chris is previously principal player in Surrey County Youth Wind Orchestra, Jazz Orchestra and Advanced Brass Group. He was in the National Children's Orchestra of GB and has just been awarded a place for the fourth consecutive year in the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, playing many times with them in all the major concert halls and in the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall.

Other performance highlights include playing on the Mayor's Barge for the Queen's Jubilee Pageant on the River Thames and with  a reduced NYO at Buckingham Palace for the Queen's Coronation Gala concert.

Chris is a recent winner of the Windsor and Maidenhead Symphony Orchestra competition and has previously won a Woking Young Musician's Trust Award and the Una Clarke Young Artist competition.

Aspiring to be a professional trombonist and euphonium player, Chris has gained an ATCL diploma with a high distinction and is currently a 1st year music scholar at Farnborough 6th Form College.

Sara Hill is a young soprano from Knaphill in Woking. She is a member of the National Youth Choir of Great Britain and Surrey Youth Choir.

Most recently with  NYCGB she has performed the War Requiem by Benjamin Britten at the Royal Festival Hall under the baton of Marin Alsop, the Monteverdi Vespers in the Royal Albert Hall and a concert at Birmingham Town Hall in which the programme ranged from Mendelssohn to Earth Wind and Fire!

With Surrey Youth Choir in conjunction with the BBC Singers she took part in a performance of  the Opera "King Arthur" by Purcell in which she performed several notable solos.

In 2013 Sara won an award from The Woking Young Musicians Trust and the Lorna Patterson Award for Special Achievement in Music from Woking High School.  She was invited by the Mayor to sing at an end of year Civic reception where she performed Handel's "Let The Bright Seraphim" from the oratorio Sampson.

Sara is currently a music scholar at St Georges College Weybridge where she is studying Music, French, Spanish and Italian at A Level. She studies singing at the Royal College of Music with Justin Lavender.

Erika Smith-Gordon, 14, is a 1st year pupil and music scholar at Wellington College, Crowthorne, where she weekly-boards. Although she was offered a place by the Junior Departments of the Royal College of Music and of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, she decided to continue learning violin privately with Lucy-Ellen Spencer in Guildford.  

She has always enjoyed performing for people in all kinds of settings; she has played in many concerts, both solo and in orchestras, at her previous and current schools, participated in music festivals in the local area, and also played for local elderly people and primary school children.

She was awarded the Woking Junior Musician of the Year title in 2013. The highlight of last year was to participate in Age UK Surrey’s Christmas Service when she performed solo pieces in Guildford Cathedral.

She is a member of the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain. At Wellington College, she is a member of the school orchestra, chamber orchestra and string trio. Future engagements include: Beethoven's Romance in F with the Guildford Symphony Orchestra; solo recital at Guildford URC Concert Society; recital in the Second Sunday Concert series at St Paul’s Church Grove Park, Chiswick. 

Born in Swansea, Thomas studied with Melissa Phelps at the Yehudi Menuhin School and with Heinrich Schiff in Austria.  An exceptionally gifted cellist, he is one of only two artists who auditioned successfully for both Young Concert Artists Trust in London and Young Concert Artists, Inc. in New York.  He has since gone on to give critically acclaimed debut recitals at Wigmore Hall (London), Alice Tully Hall (NY) and in Boston, California, Florida and Washington DC.  

As a concerto soloist Thomas has appeared with the London Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, London Mozart Players, ViVA, Orchestra of the East Midlands, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra (conducted by Heinrich Schiff), English Chamber Orchestra, Prague Philharmonic, Sofia Philharmonic, and Bayerischer Rundfunk Orchestra. 

Described as "staggeringly virtuosic" by The Guardian and "a soloist of rare refinement" by The Sunday Times, Thomas Gould performs as soloist with major orchestras worldwide including the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Hallé Orchestra, LA Phil New Music Group, Orchestre Nationale de Bretagne, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and West Australian Symphony Orchestra, collaborating with conductors such as John Adams, Nicholas Collon, Paul Daniel, Clark Rundell, John Rutter, Robin Ticciati and Garry Walker.

In January 2008 Thomas gave the world premiere of Nico Muhly’s concerto for six string electric violin Seeing is Believing.  Since then he has performed the work on numerous occasions, giving national premieres in Australia, Belgium, France, Latvia, the Netherlands and the United States (West Coast).  His 2011 début recording of Seeing is Believing with Aurora Orchestra and Nicholas Collon for Decca Classics received widespread critical acclaim.

Born in Latvia in 1988 Ksenija Sidorova was encouraged to take up the accordion by her grandmother, who has roots in the folk tradition of accordion playing. Ksenija started to play the instrument aged eight in her home town of Riga, under the guidance of Marija Gasele. Wanting more exposure to both classical and contemporary repertoire and also more concert opportunities, her studies took her to London where she was a prize-winning undergraduate and subsequently received Masters Degree with Distinction at the Royal Academy of Music, where she studied with Professor Owen Murray. Outside the RAM her awards included a Philharmonia Orchestra Martin Musical Scholarship Fund Award and Philharmonia Orchestra Friends Award.

In February 2009 Ksenija was a joint winner of “Friends of the Royal Academy of Music Wigmore Award”, which led to her Wigmore Hall debut on May 18, 2009.

Li-Chun Su has emerged as one of Germany's most versatile young pianists. She is a soloist, a chamber musician and a fortepianist.  She has been acclaimed as a talented interpreter of a wide-ranging repertoire from Bach to Kurtag.

Ms Su made her Berlin soloist debut in the Grand Hall of the Berlin Philharmonic in 2001.   She has played numerous piano concertos in the Grand Hall and Chamber Music Hall of the Berlin Philharmonic Concert Hall and with the Jena Phiharmonic Orchestra in the Jena Philharmonic Hall, Porto national Orchestra in Casa da Musica. She has performed with  the Mendelssohn Chamber Orchestra in the Gewandhaus Mendelssohn Hall in Leipzig and with the Berlin University of Arts Symphony Orchestra in Hardenberg Concert Hall.  She appeared at the Bebersee Festival with Markus Groh in 2007. In march 2009 Li-chun has played the burleske concerto of R. Strauss with Taipei Symphony Orchestra in Taipei, conducted by Reinhard Seifried. 

A native of Taiwan, Ms Su received her musical training in Taipei and Berlin. She graduated from the Berlin University of Arts with the Konzertexamen, the highest degree in graduate courses.  She has studied with maestra Mitzi Meyerson, maestro Laszlo Simon, and maestro Martin Hughes. Since 2008 she has studied with maestro Gabor Paska and Fortepiano with Mitzi Meyerson. 

Ms Su took first prizes in the  Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy Competition in 2007 and in the Artur Schnabel Competition in 2007. In 2008 she awarded the first prize in Porto International Piano Competition, portugal.  She has been invited to give recitals and chamber musical concerts across Germany, England, Austria, Belgian and Italy.  

Ms Su is also a highly accomplished fortepianist. She has given several recitals in the Musikinstrumenten Museum Berlin and at the Michael Haydn Musikfestival.   She was honored to play Carl Czerny¡¦s work on Czerny¡¦s own 1834 Boesenderfer which was shipped from Vienna to the International Czerny Congress, 2007 for her to play for the occasion. She has also been privileged to play the Brodmann¡¦s 1810  forepiano once owned by Carl Maria von Weber, and on an 1838 Conrad Graf.

Joseph Moog is a two time Winner of the International Classical Music Awards ICMA. In 2012 he received the Award as “Young Artist of the Year, Joseph Moog crowned this achievement in 2014 having won the Award as “Solo Instrumentalist of the Year” ex-aequo with the celebrated pianist Elisabeth Leonskaja. Reviewers have been extolling the "Young Steinway Artist" "the most interesting interpreter of his generation" and are speaking of him as one of the "most remarkable phenomena in the current music scene". 

Joseph Moog captivates audiences with his mature artistic personality, his transcendental virtuosity, and his bold, unique program selections, which include his own compositions. 

Radio Bremen referred to him as a "treasure hunter with supernatural technical abilities" because, in addition to the customary piano repertoire, he uses his solo recitals to include highly virtuosic rarities from the "Golden Age" of artists such as Godowsky, Rubinstein, Moszkowski and Friedman. This young artist portrays stylistic authenticity, beautiful tonal nuance and a highly developed technical sensitivity combined with an enormous stage presence. 

Among the highlights of the 2013/14 season are concerts in the Royal Albert Hall in London, in the Mariinsky theater St. Petersburg, in the Louvre Auditorium in Paris, De Doelen in Rotterdam, Auditorium della Conciliazione in Rome, concert halls in Dortmund and Berlin, the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg, the Meistersingerhalle in Nuremberg and debuts at international festivals such as La Roque d`Antéron, Ruhr Klavierfestival, Miami Piano Festival and a repeat invitation to the Tivoli Festival in Copenhagen.

In early May 2014 Joseph Moog will make his Japan debut within the prestigious festival "La Folle Journée au Japon". 

Joseph Moog performs internationally with numerous orchestras such as the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, the Deutsche Radio Philharmonic Saarbrucken-Kaiserslautern, the Slovenian Philharmonic, the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra of the Moscow Radio, the Sinfonia Varsovia, Orchestra of Pays de la Loire, the Flanders Symphony Orchestra, the German State Philharmonic of Rhineland Palatinate and the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra.

His performances have enabled Joseph Moog to work together with renowned conductors such as Andrey Boreyko, Juanjo Mena, Gilbert Varga, Christoph Poppen, Pablo Gonzalez, Nicholas Milton, Ari Rasilainen, Marcus Bosch, Dmitri Liss, Toshiyuko Kamioka, John Axelrod, Fabrice Bollon, Karl-Heinz Steffens, Theodor Guschlbauer, Petr Altrichter, Patrick Lange, Othmar Maga, Philippe Entremont, Markus Poschner and Michael Sanderling.

Joseph Moog is a frequent guest performer at renowned concert halls such as the Stuttgart Liederhalle, the Alte Oper Frankfurt, the concert halls of Dortmund and Freiburg and the Munich Gasteig. He has performed internationally in Zurich, Basel, Vienna, Salzburg, Prague, Sofia, Antwerp, Milan, Paris, Beijing, Rio de Janeiro and Tel Aviv. His USA debut was in March 2011 with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra in Denver, conducted by Gilbert Varga.

Moog has an extensive discography and has received numerous awards for his recordings, as well as outstanding critiques from international press. His seventh CD entitled 'Scarlatti Illuminated' was released in 2013 by Onyx Classics and presents Scarlatti Sonatas and transcriptions by Tausig, Friedman and Gieseking.

Distinctions such as the International Classical Music Award (ICMA), the Musikpreis der Deutsche Konzertdirektion, 3 SuperSonic Awards, Advancement Award of the Rhineland Palatinate and Schleswig-Holstein Festivals, the Pianist’s Choice, the Prix Groupe de Rothschild (Sommets Musicaux de Gstaad) and the Rhine-Mosel Musikpreis document the professional path of the young pianist, who was named a Young Steinway Artist in 2009.

Joseph Moog was born in 1987 in Ludwigshafen as the son of two professional musicians, and began playing piano at the age of four. He was initially enrolled as a young student at the Academy of Music in Karlsruhe and then with Prof. Bernd Glemser at the Academy of Music in Würzburg, and with Prof. Arie Vardi at the Academy for Music, Theatre and Media in Hannover.

British pianist Ivana Gavric created a sensation with her debut disc In the mists, winning BBC Music Magazine Newcomer of the Year 2011 for ‘playing of an altogether extraordinary calibre’. Her recent third disc of works by Grieg, also on Champs Hill Records, was selected as Editor’s Choice in Gramophone and noted for ‘an electrifying performance’ (BBC Music Magazine). The Grieg Society has voted the CD as its ‘Recording of the Year’.

This season, Ivana has made debuts with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic with Rafael Payare, as well as with the Grammy-nominated Trondheim Soloists. Previously, she has performed with the Aurora Orchestra, and collaborated with conductors including Ben Gernon, Nicholas Collon and Christian Kluxen. Named Gramophone’s ‘One to Watch’ and BBC Music Magazine’s ‘Rising Star’, Ivana has been heard on the major concert platforms in the UK including The Wigmore Hall, Royal Albert Hall and Royal Festival Hall, as well as across Europe, in Canada, Japan and Russia. Following her US debut in October, the Washington Post described Ivana’s playing as ‘impressive, insightful… a ravishing performance’. Attracting considerable praise for her interpretations of Janacek’s music in particular, Ivana has curated festivals dedicated to the composer’s solo and chamber works.
